MCA PHONE SYSTEM UPDATE

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne would like to inform the community that updates have recently been made to the MCA phone system. This phase of the phone system upgrade is now largely complete, with our Information Services team continuing to verify connectivity throughout the week. We kindly ask for your patience as final adjustments are completed.

When calling the MCA main line at 613-575-2250, callers will be directed to an automated menu system. If you know the extension for the employee or program you are trying to reach, you may enter it at any time to be connected directly. If you require assistance, please press “0” to be transferred to the receptionist at the MCA Administration #1 Building.

Please note that the phone system for the Kanonhkwa'tsheri:io Health Facility (KHF) remains unchanged. Calls made to 613-575-2341 will continue to connect directly to the KHF reception desk without an automated menu.

At this time, Proxim Pharmacy and Dr. Dubuc’s Optometry Office (both located within the KHF) cannot receive transferred calls as they await installation of the new phone system. During this transition, callers are asked to contact them directly at the following numbers:

• Dr. Dubuc’s Optometry Office: 613-575-1158
