MCA WELCOMES MP BILLY MORIN TO AKWESASNE

On June 23, the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne was pleased to welcome Billy Morin, Member of Parliament for Edmonton Northwest, on his first visit to Akwesasne.

Grand Chief Leonard Lazore and Ontario Regional Chief Abram Benedict provided a tour throughout the districts, showcasing Akwesasne's unique geography, rich history, and the resilience of our people. The visit offered an opportunity to highlight the realities of living within a community that spans provincial and international borders, while sharing the pride and strength that define Akwesasró:non.
