MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION OFFICE RELOCATED TO LOWER LEVEL OF KANONHKWA’TSHERI:IO

The MCA Department of Health (DOH) is notifying the community that the Medical Transportation Services office has been relocated to the atrium level of the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility (KHF). The office is now located on the lower level of the facility, adjacent to the Health Promotion & Prevention office/gym.

This relocation was made to improve accessibility for clients who experienced difficulty accessing the previous office on the second floor. 

Community members visiting MCA Medical Transportation Services can park on Sweetgrass Lane (between KHF and the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service station) and enter the facility through the atrium entrance.

Please be advised that the elevator in the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility remains out of service and is anticipated to be repaired during the week of June 8–12, 2026. DOH will provide an update once repairs are complete and elevator service has been restored.
