MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES WELCOMES NEW FLOAT NURSE, AMANDA TILLAART, RN

The MCA Department of Health’s Mental Health & Wellness (MHW) Sector would like to extend a warm welcome to their new Float Nurse, Amanda Tillaart, RN. Amanda will be sharing nursing duties at the Sahatihahará:ne Detox Center and the Kawehno:ke Medical Clinic (KMC).  

Amanda was born and raised in Cornwall, ON, completing her Bachelor of Nursing at St. Lawrence College through Laurentian University. She graduated in 2020 and has 5 years of nursing experience in long-term care, in which two (2) of her nursing years were spent as a travel nurse.  

In her spare time, Amanda enjoys buying and selling Pokémon trading cards, traveling, and reading. She is very grateful for the opportunity to work with MCA and with the Akwesasne community.
