OMBUDSMAN SUPPORT AVAILABLE THROUGH SALMON RIVER CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

Support is available for students and families through the Ombudsman at the Salmon River Central School District (SRCSD).

Families from Akwesasne with children attending Salmon River Central School (including St. Regis Mohawk School) may access the Ombudsman for support in addressing concerns and assisting with the resolution of student or family-related issues within the school system.

The Ombudsman serves as a community liaison within SRCSD and works collaboratively with students, families, and school staff to help resolve concerns. This role uses conflict resolution practices and proactive approaches to support positive outcomes, with attention to cultural, social, and emotional considerations.
