TEMPORARY RELOCATION OF FINANCE OFFICES

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is informing the community that the Finance offices located at the Administration #4 Building in Kana:takon/St. Regis have been temporarily relocated as of Monday, May 4, 2026. This relocation may take up to two months while renovations are being completed. 

Finance services are currently available at the following temporary locations: 

  • Angus Mitchell Memorial Building (Upstairs) – Kana:takon/St. Regis
  • CIA #1 Building – Kawehno:ke/Cornwall Island 

Community members can continue to make payments for Housing, Daycare, Rentals, Hydro-Québec, Court Fines, and other Finance-related services at both locations using cash or debit. 

Temporary office hours at both locations are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nia:wen for your patience and understanding during this transition.
