APPLE PIE GIVEAWAY FOR ELDERS

Thompson Island Cultural Camp (TICC) is partnering with the AMBE Mohawk Language & Culture Program, Ionkwahronkha'onhátie’, SRMT’s Á:se Tsi Tewá:ton Program, and Otsi'náhkwakon Language Nest to offer another special apple pie giveaway for elders!
Date: Friday, October 30
Location: Tsi Snaihne Recreation Center
Time: Starting at 11:00 a.m. (until all are gone)
The giveaway is open to elders aged 65 and older, with one pie per household, while supplies last. Individuals may pick up one (1) pie on behalf of an elder.
Each pie is prepared, packaged and frozen to help maintain freshness and can be stored in the freezer for up to three months. Cooking instructions and a Kanien’kéha language list will also be included with each pie.
Come early and enjoy a sweet treat made with care and appreciation for our elders!
