VOTER REGISTRATION DAY — SATURDAY, MAY 10, 2025

9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Angus Mitchell Memorial Building, 15 Akwesasne Street, Kana:takon

Make your voice count!

The Chief Electoral Officer is committed to supporting a strong and active voting community. That’s why a Voter Registration Day is being hosted. It will give all eligible community members a chance to register, update their information, or confirm they’re on the Voters List.

This event is especially helpful for anyone who:

  • Has recently turned 18
  • Has moved districts
  • Has never registered before
  • Wants to ensure their information is current

Being ready today means you’ll be set for any upcoming elections or by-elections, including the Akwesasne Mohawk Board of Education election this fall, and the next General Election in June 2027.
