NEWEST MEMBER OF AKWESASNE YOUTH COUNCIL SWORN IN
On May 15, 2025, Kayanna Cook-Jackson officially joined the Akwesasne Youth Council after signing her oath of office, which was administered by Kenneth (Kuy) Chaussi, Commissioner of Oaths.
The Akwesasne Youth Council offers a meaningful opportunity for young individuals to get involved in local governance, advocate for youth, and contribute to shaping the future of Akwesasne. Kayanna now joins fellow representatives Taylor Day, Starlyn Mason, and Cayde Lazore in carrying out this important work.
