A SUCCESSFUL WEEKEND OF PET WELLNESS & PREVENTION

The recent Pet Wellness Clinic held in Akwesasne from June 13–15 was a huge success — thanks to the incredible collaboration between the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society and the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne!

Over the course of three days:
✔️ 60 spay/neuter surgeries were completed
✔️ 16 wellness appointments were provided
✔️ An estimated 3,300 unplanned puppies and kittens were prevented

Hosted at the Kawehno:ke Recreation Center, this MASH-style event made a meaningful impact for Akwesasronon families and their beloved pets.
