AMBE CELEBRATES CULTURE, COMMUNITY & CONNECTION

It may have been a rainy day in Akwesasne, but that didn’t stop the celebration! The Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education held its second and final Cultural Celebration of the school year — and what a beautiful gathering it was.

Students from Grades 4–8, along with some graduating CCVS high schoolers, filled the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena with energy, laughter, and pride as they celebrated Onkwehonwe songs, dances, and regalia. 🎶

Events like these are more than just a fun time — they’re a powerful way to bring our students and community together. Seeing our youth dancing, smiling, and embracing their culture is what it’s all about.

Nia:wen to all the singers, drummers, parents, organizers, and supporters who help make this celebration possible year after year. You help keep our traditions vibrant and our spirits strong!
