As we get ready for another school year, the MCA Environment Program is sharing a few simple tips to make the transition easier (and a little more eco-friendly too!):

Shop second-hand for clothes, shoes, and supplies—it saves money and reduces waste.

Label your children’s belongings to help keep track of them.

Swap out single-use items for reusable ones—cloth napkins, refillable water bottles, and lunch containers go a long way.

Consider a supply or clothing swap with other families before buying new.
Small steps add up to big changes—for your budget, your kids, and the environment!
