CONGRATULATIONS TO TIMOTHY SUNDAY ON HIS RETIREMENT

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Department of Infrastructure, Housing, and Environment (DIHE) would like to congratulate Timothy Sunday on his chosen retirement date of March 4, 2022, from the DIHE Building Maintenance Program.

The DIHE Director, portfolio chiefs, management, and staff appreciate his years of dedication and hard work.

Timmy was employed as a Caretaker at Iakhihsohtha Lodge for 28 years. His high quality of work provided a safe and comfortable environment for the staff and residents of Iakhihsohtha. Timmy was extremely valuable during the COVID-19 pandemic; he was there through the entire pandemic as an essential service worker, performing his duties and going the extra mile.

His loyalty and dedication to his service and daily work ethic was a positive influence on his co-workers. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him.

We are very thankful for his continuous hard work throughout his twenty-eight years.
