GREAT LAW OF PEACE TEACHINGS

Running Strong for American Indian Youth, Seven Dancers Coalition, & Akwesasne Child and Family Services would like to invite the community (as well as service providers) to our Great Law of Peace teachings with Aronhiaies Herne!

The goal of this presentation is to create the ability to obtain education and an understanding surrounding the Great Law of Peace. These teachings also provide information on grief, ceremonies, laws, treaties, the clan system, history, relationships, healthy relationships, marriage, and contains traditional healing practices. We would like to help empower participants to create a stronger foundation and to feel more fulfilled from a cultural and identity standpoint. It’s never too late to learn and to adapt these teachings into their daily lives no matter their individual journey.
