MCA CONDOLENCES FOR FAMILY, FRIENDS OF RASENNES PEMBLETON

With sadness, the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne acknowledges the passing of our team member, Rasennes Pembleton, who worked for the past ten years as a researcher in the Aboriginal Rights and Research Office (ARRO).
 
Throughout his years at MCA, Rasennes was instrumental in educating the community on Akwesasne’s land claims and other rights-based matters. He will continue be remembered as ARRO and MCA move ahead in land claim processes.
 
We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends and our staff who are mourning his loss. We thank his family for sharing him with us. He will be greatly missed.
 
Friends may call at the Donaldson Funeral Home on Thursday, June 3 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 4 at 10 a.m.
 
Out of the deepest respect for their friend and colleague, the Aboriginal Rights and Research Office will be closed on Friday, June 4.
 
Memorial contributions may be made in Rasennes’ name to the Akwesasne Cancer Society.
