MCA LEGAL COUNSEL SERVICES
The Akwesasne Justice Department would like to inform the community that legal counsel services are available to community members every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Services provided:
- Initial Consultation on Personal Legal Issues (Summary Advice)
- Commissioner of Oaths
- Notary Public
- Service Referral
- Draft Agreements Between Two Parties
- Wills
- Power of Attorney
Wills and power of attorney require a $25 fee.
MCA Legal Counsel does not handle the following: individual criminal matters of community members; disputes between community members or with local organizations; divorce or separation matters; or financial matters involving private business/organizations.
