MCA TURKEY/HAM GIVEAWAY & FOOD DRIVE

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is hosting a holiday giveaway and food drive for the community!

 

When: December 9, 2022 (10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.)
Where: A’nowara’ko:w Arena (Parking Lot)

 

Due to current poultry importation restrictions, the giveaway will be held at a singular location, as opposed to each district. Each household will receive their choice of either one whole turkey or ham. We will also have a food drive during the same time and are accepting donations of canned/boxed non-perishable items.

 

Delivery is available for elders, homebound individuals, and Meals on Wheels clients! To receive delivery, please contact Admin. 1 at 613-575-2250 and provide your: name, telephone number, address, and choice of meat. Deadline to sign up for delivery is December 7, 2022 at 12 p.m. noon.
