FEEDBACK REQUESTED FROM KAWEHNO:KE RESIDENTS ON PROPOSED NATURAL GAS PROJECT

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is informing the community that in partnership with Enbridge Gas, information mailers will be mailed this week to the residents of Kawehno:ke (Cornwall Island) seeking their input on the potential of connecting natural gas to the homes and businesses on Cornwall Island. This is part of the ongoing engagement that began in late 2019 but was paused due to the pandemic.

 

We ask residents to please take a few minutes and complete the survey in order for us to gauge the community’s interest. The project will only continue if approved by Kawehno:ke residents.
