MCA OFFICE CLOSURES — GOOD FRIDAY & EASTER MONDAY
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s offices will be closed on Friday, April 10 (Good Friday) and Monday, April 13 (Easter Monday).
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, services have been limited to community members by phone and through appointment only. Currently, MCA buildings are NOT open to the public. During this holiday weekend, there will be limited health staff accessible through telephone only for community members. The Akwesasne Mohawk Ambulance will be available to take emergency calls.
On Friday, April 10 and Monday, April 13, the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) will remain open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. You can contact the EOC at 613-575-5005 and 613-575-2331.
On Friday, April 10, the Emergency Food Packages will be available for pick-up as scheduled.
Please be mindful that over this holiday weekend, everyone should continue to practice social distancing, as it has been proven to be the most effective way to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Stay safe and healthy. Nia:wen.
