OFFICIAL RESULTS: TWO BOARD MEMBERS ELECTED TO AMBE 

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has confirmed the results of the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education election that took place on August 5, 2023.  No appeals were received and therefore the election results are now official. The following candidates have been elected to 3-year AMBE terms for the district of Kana:takon: 

Cecelia King (Ceely) 
Teresa Oakes
